"Captain Harry Svenson: Captain Harry Svenson has been fishing and on the water since he was a young kid. He resides in Union Beach, New Jersey with a family of four. He owns and runs a local home improvement company Svenson Bros. Inc. His knowledge and character has really granted him with some awesome oppertunities. Capt. Harry is the North East Fishing Rep. for Fountain Powerboats. Reggie Fountain took notice of his achievements and his dedication to Fountain Powerboats and made him an offer he couldnt let down. Capt. Harry has his 100-Ton Masters License and has a great deal of knowledge on the water. Capt. Harry is also part of Sportfishing Magazines Television show with Dean Travis Clark every season down in the Chesapeake.

Captain Cole Svenson:  Captain Cole Svenson has been fishing with his father Harry since he was able to walk. He started out with his dad on a 15 foot whaler doing local tournaments and proving themselves to now being winning tournament fishermen. Captain Cole started fishing the ASA tournament circuit when it started back in 2001 and has won many top junior angler titles and also took the Top Junior Angler for the State if New Jersey in 2003. He has recently attained his 100- Ton Masters Captains License.

Cheap Shot Sportfishing is located in easy to reach Keyport, NJ. We sail from April until Late November from Raritan bay (weather permitting). Were also available to book trips for the Long Island Sound in June, September, and October for great fishing in the Race. We will also be fishing the Chesapeake and Virginia Beach in the winter months of December and January (call for dates). Cheap Shot is Captained by Captain Harry Svenson Jr. who has a 100 ton master license and his son Captain Cole Svenson who also has his 100 ton masters license. You'll be aboard our 34' Fountain, with triple 250xs Mercury Outboards, which is a tournament proven fish boat.

We offer customized personal service and we will make you part of the total fishing experience and instruct you on the greatest techniques to rig, bait, catch and boat your quarry. you could also choose to sit back and relax and we will take care of the rest!
